Zimmer Nexgen Knee Replacement Recall Lawsuit

Prominent surgeons are asking for a recall of the Zimmer Knee implant. One main concern is that the Zimmer Nexgen knee implant was released for sale without any clinical testing. At a March 2010 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons conference, two knee surgeons presented data suggesting that the Zimmer NexGen knee replacement failure rate could be as high as 9% and that the actual number of complications that require revision surgery could be even higher.

Are you a patient with the Zimmer Knee Implant who has experienced the following?

  • Loosening of Replacement Knees
